The Christmas that never was...
Apologies there's been no Blog updates but the server is down at the house we're staying in and behind a locked door so it can't be reset. This brief message has been written on the ipad we bought Josh for Christmas. The festive season came and went with Josh deteriorating neurologically to such a degree that he had no idea Christmas Eve or Christmas Day ever happened. He slept through both and didn't even seem to recognise Joseph at one point. Boxing Day he stirred for an hour or so which made Joseph so happy he sobbed his heart out. There's been a little improvement since, most notably today when he woke just as Claire and Joseph where heading back home for a couple of days. He listened to music, played The Sims on his iPad with a great deal of help and we've just finished an hour long game of Monopoly Street on Playstation which he enjoyed but was also a real struggle. Joseph enjoyed a good Christmas overall, even though it was away from home and we look to the New Year to bring some joy and happiness into all our lives, because that's what we all do at this time of year. If I can find a way of posting the last few days events in full, I will. Until then thank you all for reading and for your continued support. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to each and every one of you. XXXX
